I don't know the answer.

Question Author

why doesn't that surprise me?!

I don't  know. Why doesn't it surprise you?

maybe they misheard - "chomping" 🤣

Question Author

10:45 Well you have often revelled in your lack of knowledge so one more bit of common knowledge you don't have doesn't surprise me.

Question Author

10:47 they are written down in front of them.

It was a very common word during the reporting of the Falklands campaign ...

I've never been in the armed forces and I don't read war stories.  There's no reason I should be familiar with army jargon.  Some of your posts are ridiculous.

Marching

My mother used to tell me to 'stop your yomping' when I was moaning about something. Common expression where I grew up, not for marching.

Question Author

Naomi, why don't you just ignore these then? It's clear you are very proud of how little you know so why get involved in posts about a quiz show?

TORATORATORA, do you get the correct answer to every question on The Chase?

I'll ignore your rudeness TTT but if a subject holds no interest, people don't necessarily have the answers - and that applies even to you.   That's why I respond.

Question Author

11:20 I am not being rude I am echoing what you yourself have intimated in the past.

Surely engaging in a thread just to disrupt it is trolling. That's what you do. Please ignore my TWAU threads which are intended as a bit of a laugh, that's all.

Good idea for a bit of fun, never noticed them before, will look out for them.

I don't respond to disrupt.  When you post something funny I say it's funny but ridiculing people because they're not familiar with a niche topic like this is just arrogant.

Are you two married (to each other)? Typical H&W bickering!🤣

The word is used once in about every 375,000,000 words so it's not exactly in common use, is it?

Possibly Dave.  😂

Anyone who viewed the Falklands news coverage will have heard it repeatedly.
