If you want to win elections going forward you need to use tech and connect woth voters.  If you want young voters you MUST use tech.  Musk is considered high tech.

I can't imagine that many young people give a hoot about Musk. The man himself is no hero, but if any party can utilise tech to foward their cause it could be a came changer.

Well you would be wrong.  It's odd I admit but still there so if Farage has any sense he will utilise it.

Trump (via Musk and his son) won over many to "the cause" using tech, social media, pod casts etc.  It is certainly the way forward for the immediate future.
