Would any Indian chef have a recipe for Chicken Rogan, I mean the proper authentic one. Not made from a jar either.
I am of indian origin myself and cook often but can never seem to achieve that delicoius taste, so if you have a tried and tested recipe I would very much appreciate it .
Thanks in Advance

Here's a lamb recipe - substitute chicken as you wish: http://www.cuisinedumonde.com/rogan_josh.html or see: http://www.hub-uk.com/tallyrecip01/recipe0041.htm for a restaurant option with no extra liquids used. Again, subs. chicken for the meat.

Pics to help with this chicken version: http://www.madgeandgeoffrey.co.uk/chicken_rogan_josh.htm or see: http://www.india4world.com/indian-recipe/non-veg/Mutton/Rogan-Josh.shtml from one of the many Indian sites. Lamb/mutton again, but change meat for chicken. (Lots of really good suggestions for all sorts of meals on this one!) Should say I thought mutton was the only authentic meat for rogan josh, but use whatever takes your fancy.

Degi mirch, as I'm sure you know, is a strong red pepper, so use paprika if degi mirch not in your storecupboard or buy online/from local Asian store.

Make a spare one for the ABers too!
