Ducks on water

A Mate of mine who was a 'dirty scouser!! ' Although he lived in Frodsham, had a saying that went 'Well,i`ve heard ducks fart on water before'. AQnyone Know the meaning or origin of this one??

I have'nt heard that one but I have heard 'Ducks farting on wet grass' the man who used to say it had been in the Navy.I can't honestly say I knew what he meant by it and I can't even begin to imagine what it would sound like.If you 'd like a good saying what about 'He took his ball home ' for someone having a temper tantrum and leaving the scene now you know what that means and you can picture that as we all remember the spoilt kid who walked off with his ball because we would'nt let him win.
