Cold turkey
What are your opinions on this programme?
I can't believe that T.V has got to this point, I understand part of the idea to show the real world of drug takers and to show that it is devastating but why would you want to watch someone go cold turkey its horrible. Not a pleasant thing to go through or watch. Is there anything we won't watch or they won't put on T.V these days?
I know, I know, turn it over, don't watch it - which I did but what are YOUR feelings about this, is this reality t.v gone mad?

Watching people who are heavily sedated in bed is as dull as ditch water, and the reactions of the dazed relatives to being asked "how do you feel?" for the umpteenth time is a tad tiring.
I was hoping it'd be interesting and even informative, but it seems the programme makers have steered away from a serious look at drugs/cold turkey and gone for the voyeuristic approach. All rather sad.
This is not the end of reality TV depravity. Whilst it is a good idea to project a message that Heroin will destroy you it is also giving people a way of getting on the telly. I noticed that many of them had "one last hit" if they could have thrown it away then that would have been very empowering to them.
However i fear that the only end point of reality TV is death tv. If you want to see what i mean either watch the fil m or read the manga of "Battle Royale" ( warning battle royale is extremly violent and will screw with your head)
