Unlike bands, Mobile discos tend need not to worry about names but I am soon to advertise and I dont want a boring one like S&A sounds. There was one in north london called abbey rhodes that went bust ( it must of got mixed up with a greek taxi company). I deal mainly in family music like weddings and someone suggested nice and cheesy. I would like a play on a song title or artist - can you come up with something better

Avoid the word "Disco" The last time anyone took that seriously John Travolta was slim and wore a white suit. Infact I'd avoid the profession altogether. The images that mobile discos conjure up unfortunately have nothing to do with music and everything to do with failed ambition and lost youth.... only my opinion Fish !

if youre gonna advertise in the yellow pages et al then you try and start it with the letter A it'll be at the begining of the section and people looking to hire a disco will see it first ...Aardvark Sounds etc....
Blame it on the Boogie
I have my own mobile disco and called it Disco Fever but ive had the name for over 10 years now, I don't think it matters what name you have as long as you play the music the customer wants....
We hired Disco Inferno for our wedding. We specifically approached them before anyone else because of their name. To us, it suggested 70's nostalgia, cheese & a sense of irony - and we got all three on the day!
How about Music Capers!
Mo-sco(w)
how about Boogie Nights, because its also a play and a film so your name would pop up often and be recognized
I know it sounds really cheesy but what about Ray Von like the one peter kay had!
