I have a car and some spare time mainly in the evenings and weekends. I'd like to earn some extra money. What jobs can I get seeing as I have a car and some spare time and where can i get those jobs from? I've had a look at the internet and not seen much.

Don't say taxi driver as well because I've checked and you need lots of licences.

How about a distribution job for your local newspaper. They always seem to need folk to sort out their free papers and also their paid-fors. You could try doing some voluntary work - check at your local library - and that might open a few doors. We're always getting deliveries down our close from various mail-order mobs. A lot seem to use their own cars.
Take away Deliveries - where I live, they always need drivers.
A Courier a for catalogue company They employ fleets of owner drivers to deliver their parcels.

Driving doctors around in the evening. Contact your local health authority.

If you do start doing anything like this you may need to change your car insurance.

You are probably not insured for using your car as part of a business.

If you have a crash while delivering papers or whatever you may find the insurance company will not pay out.

How about driving old biddies to tesco's and back and maybe help with their shopping. You will be surprised how rich some are and would simply love a male escort to carry their bags.

I had a friend who did this at uni with his battered old Metro. One old girl gave him 50 a shop.

More info on doctor-driving. Don't know much, except that some practices do have a driver who shuttles 'em round. I suppose it's so they can get blathered. Contact your local health authority as I suggested. Why not stick a small ad in your local paper or pop into your job centre. You might even get a bit of a start-up grant to help fund it.
