What does 'conk' mean and also what is the proper definition of '...' ?

For definitions, check a dictionary. There are several online. Conk could mean a blow to the head, among other things. I think there is a game like marbles played with conkers. Conked hair was fashionable among african americans several decades ago -- I think it was a curling technique.

In British English, 'conk' is - as Boo says - usually employed as a slang word for 'nose', probably based on the name of the conch shell, which I suppose a nose vaguely resembles! It can also mean the head or a blow to the nose or head. With 'out', as in 'the engine conked out', it means stopped working.

It's pronounced 'conk' throughout the English-speaking Caribbean, where, in some places, they're harvested.
