I recently read this term regarding a hypothetical manuver by North Korea against the United and Great Britain. Can someone out there decifer this term? Thank You
I believe it was simply a metaphor as opposed to a specific military manouevre - i.e. nothing but a sea a flam as far as the eye can see as a result of massive bombardment. Certainly doesn't mean they are going to pour petrol all over the Sea of Japan and set it alight.
Rekstout - please don't keep giving people ideas! You never know - someone may have just read your answer and gone "Petrol, ocean, match - great idea" ;-)
