I have heard this a few times in American films and recently The Simpsons.Does anyone know what it means,Bart and Lisa said it.I thought it might mean nits.

frank zappa , god rest his soul, also mentioned it in one of his songs. it went(aint no cooties on me). i think the track was amorillo brillo.
