out of the Mouths of Babes and Sucklings
Discussion with my OH about the meaning of this. I thought that it meant that sometimes pearls of wisdom could come from youg people - he thinks it means rubbish. Rather contrasting views and only one of us can be right!

The second is from Matthew 21.15/16..."And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?"
The phrase suggests a source of strength and praise.
