Abbreviations that have always puzzled me

Apologies if this has been asked before, and more apologies for sounding completely dumb... but what do the following stand for? SUV (as in what they call 4X4s in the US) SWAT ( as in SWAT teams, again in the US) Finally SEALs (as in Navy SEALs) Many thanks

The Acronym Finder is always my first port of call when I come across something like this.
All your examples are there, and, without of course wishing to contradict QM, you'll also find that SWAT can also
mean "Sex Workers' Alliance of Toronto".
