Jabberwock
4 Answers
Can anyone direct me to a poem which begins ''Twas brillig and the slithy toves did gire and gimble in the wabe.' I think it may be 'The Jabberwock.'
I've just been on friends reunited and someone mentioned our teacher used to recite it and I'd love to read it again coz of the memories of that teacher.

TWAS BRYLLYG, AND YE SLYTHY TOVES
DID GYRE AND GYMBLE IN YE WABE: ALL MIMSY WERE YE BOROGROVES; AND YE MOME RATHS OUTGRABE.
And that was the whole thing. There have also been foreign versions (or should that be more foreign?).
