Is the wording correct? At 11:20, it's 200 minutes after 0800 and 40 minutes before noon so the time has to be as bernardosaid, has to be 12:44, which is after midday

Between 0800 and 1200 are 240 minutes.
Subtract 84 leaves 156.
Divide by 6 (5 times after 0800 +1 time before 1200) gives 26 minutes.

This is how I got my answer:

Between 08:00 and 12:00 noon, there are 240 minutes.
Divide it into 6 segments to get 40 minutes.
At 11:20, it is 200 minutes after 08:00 and 40 minutes before 12:00, i.e. 5 times as many bla bla bla.

But that happened 84 minutes ago.
Therefore it is now 12:44, i.e. 84 minutes after the time when it was 5 times bla bla bla.

Therefore the question was inaccurate in saying it's "before" 12:00 noon.

I reckon tara20 was wrong to subtract the 84 minutes before divideing by 6.

0800 till 1010 is 130 minutes = 5 times 26
