'Growler' is one nickname for a small iceberg, though it's not specifically Australian. I'm suggesting it only because it's the sort of word I can imagine Aussies actually using!

As an Australian I can safely say I have no knowledge of what you speak. I realise a 'berg' is a small mountain but this 'ice' concept is foreign to me. (Alternatively, we call them icebergs like everybody else)
