brownish discharge from my budgie's beak
2 Answers
hi - a budgie flew into the hotel i work in and after trying to find the owner i deided to bring him home and got a cage and stuff for him - yesterday i noticed a brownish discharge coming from his beak, not much just enough to worry me - as i havent had him long i dont know if any of the other behaviour is different - his poo looks normal, and he's still eating, although the seeds are now sticking to his beak. he does make clicking noises, and has stopped chirping - exept when blondie's on he still manages a chirp then! i read somewhere that i should move him to a humid bathroom to help his breathing - is this right? i dont know what his living conditions were like before he tried to check in at the hotel - my house isnt central heated so would this make a difference?
