Namelynumber 8 and 13 as copied here;
8. Calls will be selected at random. Being short-listed to go through to the studio does not entitle the caller to a chance to play.
13. The prize fund will increase by 100 a day.
Imagine having that moment when you know the answer to the final voice, youve worked out the clues, eureka! You call the 25p a go line, you set a limit of say two pounds, you walk away, but then you think what the heck, for 20,000 pounds why not, so you blow another two pounds, and wow, the recorded message this time is different. This time it begins with Congratulations. This time Ive been selected at random to be put through to the studio, please hold the line while I wait to be put through to the studio! Exciting or what? Then after what seems like a lifetime, a real persons voice. Im through to the studio. I give my name, and then Im asked what my answers are. Carefully I say them, after this Im told these will be entered onto the computer and if Im picked they will call me back, Im asked to give my phone number and I go away really thinking I stand a chance.
So here is the final voice identity for anyone who thinks they can get past the random selection process and the phone vetting at the radio station. Firstly the clues, hes not a zero. Anyone whos played noughts and crosses will tell you that if youre not a zero you are a cross or an X, so we have various possibilities, X-men, X factor or Xfm. Hes fun around the clock, again 24 hours, or the programme 24, or more likely 24 hour party people. Strong connections with the North West, whos involved in massive regeneration of this region. Xfm DJ and Subject of 24 hour party people Anthony H Wilson (Tony Wilson) the man behind factory records.
As for terms and conditions number 13, who needs to play by the rules?
