who decides if a word is a swear word or not ie who said sh!t was swearing but poo is perfectly exceptable?

Most swearwords are, I think, Anglo-Saxon in origin...so condemning swearing is effectively prejudice against Germans.

Went on before the war too, see.

Which is why I believe swearing is, and should be, acceptable. Next time me and a woman become very close, we won't shag. We're gonna ****.
