time to start collecting those magazines

we get all those adverts, for magazines offering to build a space shuttle in 52 weekly issues, or collect the 5th armoured tank division ..................just 52 to collect

I collected some of those mags a few years ago....infact nearly 20 years ago thinking about it.

I bought the car care one....a comprehensive guide to DIY car repair, diagnosis and general faffing about with your motor.

But....they didn't tell you how long they'd go on for back in those days and 3 years later.....and at a cost of �300 odd , thet finally stopped.

They were useful though at times but now, as most cars just need plugging into a computer these days, they're down the tip !!!

I collected "The Story of Pop" in the 70s, I collected the whole lot and even bought the binders to keep them in, I threw them all away 3 years ago, I so wish I kept them!!! Some brilliant pictures of Bowie, Slade etc in their early years, priceless!!!
