Have central locking on the car (not remote). Can hear the boot lock click when I turn the key but despite rest of car locking, the boot doesn't. It won't lock manually with key either. I've sprayed some wd40 in it and if you push the catch you can bring it down, but seems like something isn't doing it when key turns. Anyone got any ideas? Spent so much on this flippin machine I can't really afford much more!

Thanks

Problem solved. What the previous owner neglected to tell me is that the "spare" key isn't actually a spare as such, but the boot lock has been replaced and it's for that instead. Doh!
