What on earth does "nils illegitimae carborundum" mean? Can anybody help please?

it's fake Latin meaning 'don't let the ******** grind you down' - 'nil' for 'no', illegitimi' for illegitimate and 'carborundum', a grinding powder. Sounds Latin but isn't.
