KM Links Game April week 1

Hasn't the long weekend flown !!!
I noticed somebody mentioned Christmas is the midst of the postings - have we developed an even faster way of getting through each year ?? this is not on !!!!
This weeks matches were fairly predictable, being
Royal Jelly
Witch Hazel
Tiger Balm
Cherry Brandy
and the first poster, with the time to give due consideration to his answers was Aquagility who scored 3 out a possible 4 [ nearly scooped the pool]
and coming in at #2 was seekeerz picking up the discarded crumbs from AQ's table and hoping Tiger Balm might be better than a moth.
So all four matches were made with the first two postings and it was left to everyone either to hope Kate was being inventive or to select some of the already nominated matches - at this point, I must ask the O-ices
'please what is a Bing Cherry ??? I thought it was Bing Crosby!!! shows how much I know !!!!
so at this early stage of the month
Aquagility is well out in front, sitting on 6 points
next comes keyboardix with 3 points
then we have Arabesque,devadiva, Paul21455.
gen2, brizzer & seekeerz each with 2 points
and then there is a group of 25 posters each scoring 1 point this week - I hope you will not be disappointed if I don't list one and all individually, that's the time my typing seems to be lost in cyberspace.
Congratulations to all the successful scorers, I hope no-one has over-indulged in the chocolate stuff and we'll see everyone back here, bright eyed and bushy-tailed, ready for another bout next weekend - so long for now, Steff

Well done Aquagility and keyboardix. Well A..you nearly when striaght in for the outright win early on there...excellent!

I'm finding that it's not so easy being on the receiving end of a "zilch" ~ now I know how it feels!
I was grappling with the EV Crossword until 2.00am with only a bottle of Scotch to keep me company! I've solved all 52 clues, but only need to fathom what the hidden message is! Now I'm paying the price ~ I feel like a "smashed Roo"!
However, more to the point, "SIncere Congratulations " to Aquagility (for KM) to Pauline (for MM) and seekeerz ( for being Steff). You all know that I am always trying to be provocative and find some new to say! I think my behaviour is covered by the "Honi Soit" Clause!
As for cliffyg, in the words of the football pundits, and I quote "The boy done well good!"

Congrats to aquagility for such a good score.
I did get one - his lordship nil, so a small gloat is in order.
Thanks Steff for once again sorting out the wheat from the chaff.
Bing cherries are quite delicious and should soon be in season - if we ever do get a spring in 'God's own.'
Dictionary definition:quote
Bing cherry
n.
A variety of cherry with juicy, sweet, deep red to nearly black fruit.
[Perhaps after an employee of the cherry's originator.]
Once again, Happy Easter to all.

thanks, O-ices - the cherries sound delicious and as usual I finish up learning something new [had to look up what a bunny boiler was, too - that was a new one !!]
We're getting more of an autumn than we need - 32deg. today and NO rain in sight, things are more than a little desperate now.
trust you both had a Happy Easter and will see you later S
