If you could, or have, named a house what reason would you give for the name you have chosen.
They say it is unlucky to re-name a house, so I have never been able to chose my own house name (most have only had numbers!).
What's the strangest house name you have come across?

Nice one Stewey, again !!
Miss R, I would steer well clear of Dunroamin' or anything that's the start of your name and the end of your partners etc. It rarely works and I think shows lack of imagination.

I saw one called Emoclew the other day ( read it backwards ) Not nice, and a big ' ****** off ' to visitors I thought !
What's wrong with bu99er ? x x
I named mine ATLASTA
When I was a wee boy our house was called Camelot.
Our was called 'hope cottage'
Once saw a house with two elderly people sitting benignly on a bench outside.

There was an ornate sign, beautifully made, hanging by way of a 'name' in the garden. It simply read:

"Far Corfe"

I loved it and want my house to be called that one day.
I know someome who has a house named DAVE. She has a lovely plaque on the wall.
Personally, I like Cobwebs
