Zacsmaster,
the reason the first question was asked was due to the fact that he was aware that he was drunk therefore being far from home never even attempted to drive but instead lay in in his car where he had parked it at side of road at a parking area near to a hotel where a wedding reception was being held. He never actually did drive drunk. He was aware enough and reasonable to realise there was no way he could or should be driving, Was just foolish to be in possession of his keys and therefore receiving the "drunk in charge" charge. I personally just feel he was lucky as i was under the impression that this charge was these days as severe as actually being caught behind the wheel. One shining light of it all is that he has since and will prob continue to get a taxi witht he rest of us so that he will never be in the position for it to happen again
