IC are the initials for 'Identity Code' followed by a number that describes appearance.

IC1 = white skinned European
IC2 = dark skinned European
IC3 = negro or negroid
IC4 = Indian or Pakistani
IC5 = Chinese or Japanese
IC6 = Arab
IC7 = mixed race, half caste, or unidentified.
