Women judge men on their manners

A recent article has suggested that it is not looks that woo a woman but instead good manners. Tips for men on how to make a good impression include � be early for dates and never use cheesy chat-up lines. In the poll women put manners above looks and intelligence. What do you think? Are good manners an absolute must in a partner? Or are they more of a bonus?

I went on a date recently and the man ate something that was a bit spicy...so he stuck his fork in my drink and scooped the ice out!! Gross!

One night stand or one of those bonk buddies I guess it's ok to have bad manners as long as the sex is good ;o)

As for a long term relationship..of course manners are expected!

i must admit - im no looker, and my girlfriend, we shes pretty stunning, and she has worse manners then me......

she even discusts me sometimes too.....

yes some of the best looking guys in my town open their mouths and I'm put straight off. Its not manners as such I just cant stand arrogant men that show off.

eyebrows, that's disgusting, manners are a two way thing, I would never dream of doing anything like that, and if any woman did it to me, she'd be dumped ASAP!!

I think manners are very importnt, but it's an oversimplification to assume that a well-manered but ugly man will score more dates than an ill-mannered handsome man - women are a lot more complex and discerning than that.

I use my manners as a matter of course - I was raised that way - and I have yet to find a woman of any age who does not appreciate simple courtesies.
