Is there really a euphemism for headache in Australia that goes " Sticking your head up a Dead Bear's B*m"?

If that's a euphemism, one dreads to think what the appropriate dysphemism might be!

I guess you meant 'idiom', Airbolt. Given the forthrightness of much Australian speech, I don't doubt for a moment that there is such an idiom!

What happened to the middle of your response above? It looks as if there should have been a picture or somesuch. Has New AnswerBank wiped it away somehow?

Not sure , why there's such a gap. It's certainly not for an illustration of the phrase!
I doubt it, Bearing in mind that there are no bears in Australia, although it does sound as though it could refer to a hangover.
