The Muslim view of Heaven, I believe. The seventh is the highest, with God in it. The sixth has got Adam and Eve in it I think.

thanks, firefly. It's an old expression out of the 50's (I think) that popped into my wife's head today.

The idea of 'seven heavens' was certainly Jewish/Hebrew and probably even Babylonian before that, though it was certainly adopted later by Muslims.
