Gods' Boxes

I have in my hands two boxes which God gave me to hold. God said, "Put all your sorrows in the black box, and all your joys in the gold box." I heeded His words, and in the two boxes both my joys and sorrows I stored. But though the gold became heavier each day the black was as light as before. With curiosity, I opened the black. I wanted to find out why, and I saw a hole in the base of the box through which my sorrows had fallen out. I showed the black box to God, and mused "I wonder where my sorrows could be." He smiled a gentle smile and said, "My child, they're all here with me." I asked God, why He gave me the two boxes - why the gold, and the black with the hole? "My child, the gold is for you to count your blessings and the black box is for you to let your sorrows go."

I am not a God person but I agree with the sentiment of this. there has been a lot of support for Wizard - I hope he finds his way out of his troubles soon.

Figure, that was a lovely thing to post for Wizard. I saw his post last night. Life can be hard, and when people say, make the best of what you have, or be thankful..... Honestly, when you are at your lowest ebb..... and depression does take over you. you really cannot see past it, no matter what people say, or how you try to rationalize it.

Wizard I hope you are feeling brighter today. I have been there in that dark tunnel. But I am through it. You can do it too. You may not think it now. But you can. Sending a hug to you x
