i always said hatton was overated, mayweather made him look like a fool, people got annoyed by mayweathers arrogance he is like that because he is the best nowt wrong with that, are british sportsmen built up too much? it makes things worse when you see the likes of "the great hatton" sitting on his "arse" looking ever so slightly ridiculous :) well done mayweather easy money :)

He did well and worked hard to get there, will you call Calzaghe a chump should he ever be defeated?
It's easy to criticise.

I wanted to see him do well, but why are they so mouthy before the fight, even after he said he didn't think maywether was that good, ffs, he ain't the champion for nothing and with the ultra massive ring he could have danced all night. and yes bob they are built up to much, even michael owen said not one of the croation players would get into the England team, maybe not Michael but at the moment I would swap the whole bloody lot of the England team for the Croatian squad they made England team look what they are too, very average.
There's more guns in Manchester than the OK Corrale! Hatton's a tough guy unfortunately he has to suffer cheap shots from n'er do wells and never weres. By your own admission you would'nt get in the ring with either of em, his nan would kick your arse all the way to New Year.
I'm not a big fan of Hatton, he tried and he failed but at least he tried his best and that's all that matters to me. ;-))

Didn't watch it, but here is the news report. They say he had some early success. Are you sure you watched the same fight BTT as everyone else?
"Manchester's Hatton, 29, applied most of the pressure in the early rounds and found some success with some big lefts.
With the strains of Blue Moon still ringing in his ears, light-welterweight king Hatton started quicker and wobbled Mayweather with two big right hands in the first round.
But Mayweather let his hands go in the middle rounds, with his fierce left finding its target as Hatton attacked."
