Try 'full of energy'. Pleine d'haric sounds close to Mr Methane.
Hey creature, a few of good idiomatic phrases which spring to mind would be
  • tre en pleine forme, which means to be exciteble, to be on top form;
  • pter la forme, which means to be on top form; and
  • my favourite: pter le feu or pter les flammes, which means to be full of go.

    N.B. The second and third options are informal.
IndieSinger's 2nd and 3rd options are probably not suitable for polite company.
Joie de vivre perhaps? Or even va va voom!
