I dont know the answer but you can bet if people started using " va va voom " there would be attempts to make it more " French ". There are 2 Language monitors in France who attempt to restrict the widespread take up of Anglicisms ( Le Weekend , Le Email etc ). They are the Academie Francaise and The General Commission on Terminology and Neology . The latter recently banned " email " in all Government Correspondence and substituted " Le Courriel ". Alternatively , you could ask Bobby but he would probably just give a Gallic Shrug!

dont know about french but aparently it can now be found in the english dictionary and it means something exciting that may have sexual meaning
