Ive just been shopping and within spitting distance i saw, Valentines day cards, Mothers day cards and then Easter eggs! wonder how long it will be till the fathers day cards come out, before or after mothers day or Easter??? Is it me or is it getting worse in this country? Happy Halloween to everyone! :-)

easter is pretty early this year so the shops seem to ahve the eggs in even earlier than usual. i spotted them on sale in woolies 2 weeks ago.

Our local card shop has all the cards on display , they were out last week , sad really .

Local Morrisons were changing their Christmas stuff over to Easter stuff on 4th Jan, just eggs and toys not cards. Most depressing was three years ago, came back from summer hols and the local card shops were busily stocking their shelves with Christmas cards.
It was August bank holiday week end. So that's one third of the year flogging Christmas to us, more if you count the two weeks after December 25th sales period.

Im not very happy that mothers day is the day after my birthday this year as it means the two days I have an excuse to be spoilt are over and done with in one go!Plus if baby doesnt arrive before then, Im really going to be able to do anything nice anyway :(

They have Cadbury's Creme eggs all year round in our local shops!

I remember them being a 'very specail treat' for the kids!

aww poor you psychick, what date is mothers day, i dont even know. Its always within a few days of my mums birthday too!



i know what you mean about the cream eggs smudge but if i see them at the wrong time i always think they are old stock so wont buy them lol im living in the past i think!

My birthday is the 1st March and mothers day is 2nd March. Incidently, my baby is due 25th February and its a leap year this year! Everything is going to happen all at once isnt it? lol

that is early this year isnt it then psychick, its normally around the 18th or so cause my mum is the 20th. You're St Davids day then!
