What does the phrase "casting nasturtions" mean?

I think you mean "casting aspersions" which means making false accusations.
As Bernardo says, the proper phrase is "casting aspersions"; but some people use the childish pun "casting nasturtiums", a nasturtium being a common garden plant in the UK.
It may be a pun of nasturtaions, but the practise of adding an n to words which have none is common, due to confusion with 'a n???' and 'an ???'. More words deleted the n such as nuncle and norange.
It's a malapropism, it should be, as bernardo says, aspersions
indeed, to cast nasturtions would be to through a type of flower.
