What's the name of this type of word?

It's a word, when pronounced, sounds the same as it's spelt, e.g. buzz or swish. For instance if you say picture, it doesn't make the sound of a picture does it? Any ideas? Thanks.

I think it's onomatopoeia, but I may be wrong.x

Onomatapoeic means that it suggests what it sounds like buzzzzz in bee becaust is the noise. I think you mean phonetic. This should really be fonetic-sounds as it is spelt.
Homophones are the words which sound the same but are spelt differently. pail, pale----to ,two, too etc
