Patrick (Paddy) Fox
2 Answers
I am looking for Patrick Fox (Paddy) who was stationed at
Bank Lane Barracks, Irlam o'th Heights, Manchester in
1942. Unfortunately I do not have a regiment but think he
was part of the medical corp. This is a very important
quest and I would welcome any help or information no
matter how trivial it may seem.
Thank you in anticipation!

The more info you give the better.
To find out who stayed at the barracks you could try the local studies library in salford - there is a contact for peel park libraries on this page : http://www.salford.gov.uk/leisure/libraries.ht m
I don't think your enquiry is trivial, but it may take a lot of effort to achieve very limited results. Good luck!

Plus here's the website of the RAMC:
http://www2.prestel.co.uk/stewart/ccramc.htm
it doesn't seem v helpful but sometimes writing directly to the regiment is useful.
Most of these organisations will ask for a small fee if they do research for you
