Big Brother: North South divide is this series evidence???

I've tried to watch BB before but never lasted more than 10 mins because the people were like.. not people I could identify with.. Too loud, too showy, to superficial, no real character, etc. and I'm not familiar with people like that.
However, strange as it is this year I can really identify with the folks on BB, they are just like people I know, grew up with, have worked with, went to school with etc.. Except for Rex that is.
Is this because they are from the north, like me. And I just can't identify with Southerners? I ask if others here both North and South have noticed anything like this.

It's not that I prefer Northerners, I can understand them. Know where they are coming from and what they are about. Where as sutherners, they are like aliens to me, doesn't mean I don't like them, I just don't get them. Find it hard to communicate & don't seem to have much in common with peoples sarf ov brummy.
