its lorry of course!! flat O sound as in ORANGE. You don't say Urange do you?? And no, I dont come from Bolton ... what has coming from there got to do with pronunciation?
Same as coming from any place often dictates how certain words are pronounced! 'Lurry' is also used by Salfordian Mark E. Smith of popular beat combo The Fall, so I imagine it's peculiar to the general Manchester area. Some people even pronouce 'tortoise' to rhyme with poise rather than puss...
As for Another Dave's Bolton reference, it seems to have a parallel in South Yorkshire, where Sheffielders are derided by those around them for speaking differently.
