the evo was first sold through the dealerships in 1998 - before that they were grey imports.
I drive an Evo 9 FQ340 bought Oct last year - I still havent gotten used to the new Evo X - it just looks like a european family car. its too comfortable and too many gadgets.
The Ralliart version due out in the Spring might fare better though - but then the price isnt quite so nice.
