Disneyland Paris
Hi guys, have never been and I am looking to go with my partner some time this year. Possibly May/June. I am wondering if it is cheaper to go and stay at the resort or whether its better to stay in the city. I really only want to go for 3/4 days, but would prefer to only go to disneyland for a day or 2. Then we can explore Paris itself, as I have never been there either. So is it cheaper to stay in the city and buy disneyland tix and get a shuttle or stay at the resort and shuttle out to the city. Any money saving tips for when I book my trip too would be greatfully recieved.

The resort hotels at Disneyland are OK but on the expensive side especially when it comes to food and drink - alcolhic drinks are deliberately overpriced to discourage drunken behaviour, hence the petrol station on the main road doing a roaring trade....
You can get every variety of hotel / price in Paris but you need to decide how much of your trip you want to spend travelling rather than looking round either Paris or Disneyland.
In addition at certain times of year Disneyland can get very crowded, making it practically impossible to see and enjoy the parades etc.
As a compromise, why not plan to go to Disneyland, say by Eurostar, stay for one night there, then spend the rest in Paris?
