I love that word, but what the blinking heck does it mean? Bespoke tailor, bespoke shoemaker. Does it mean that everybody goes around speaking about them? It's a quaint phrase you don't expect still to be used in the 21st century.

bespoke means something mase for you, to your spec/requirements.

e.g if you go to a bespoke shoemaker, he would make shoes especially for you, if say, you had really wide feet, or one foot was bigger than the other, he would most likely measure you up and make them for you.  i think you'd go here if you couldn't find shoes to fit in a normal shop.

sorry , where it says 'mase', it supposed to say 'MADE', sorry my mistake. duh!
Software developers talk about bespoke products and a quick search on google offered several hundred thousand matches so I guess there are people out there who don't mind if they're considered quaint (plus, if it's bespoke it's an excuse for a company to charge you lots more for it!)
