Mud on bears paws

I'm looking for a childrens book that i had when i was little, i cant remember the name of it or who it was by, but vaguely remember it being along the lines of a teddy bears picnic. The bear takes his boy to a party in the woods and when they get back the boy notices mud on bears paws.... or something like that, I know its a crap description but if anyone can help i'd by made up. Thanks
