.. regarding Eamon Holmes. Apparently he has never learned to tie his shoelaces in over 40 odd years. His mum always did it for him at home, & he has never learnt how to do it himself.
I must admit, I never got the hang of laces, bows etc until I was 13 - I found it a mortifying thing to admit to. I just did sloppy knots & pretended the bows had come undone. It really used to worry me. The joy when I finally learned to do a bow was indescribable.

How daft is that? How common is that? What other 'simple' things did it take you ages (or if ever) to get the hang of?

Salla, it's parking your car in a space between two already parked cars by backing up into that space.......been driving for years and still can't do it: in fact I don't even try.
