The Wrath of The TOGS??
Is Evans the right chap to take over from Our Tel on Radio 2? It seems a lot of TOGS don't think so. Will they leave in droves? Will Evans destroy the most popular show on Radio? Important questions I'm sure you'll agree!

Remember Jimmy Young, who refused to speak to his replacement Jeremy Vine, or the hard time Ken Bruce got when he stepped into the morning schedule?
I think Johnnie Walker would have been best, but maybe his health problems don't permit? They should have replaced Walker with Stuart Maconie when they had the chance, but now he has carved an excellentr niche with the boy Radcliffe, so they can't really afford to lose him from there.
As long as the BBC don't continue this habit of putting TV 'stars' into radio shows - Norton for Wright? Hardly!
Give it to Gloria Hunniford - give her something else to talk about apart from bereavement, which will give us all a flamin' rest!

Chris Evans in for the Togmeister......no..no..and thrice no.Going home he's great he'll pick you up after a hard day but first thing early morning he's too franetic.Mind you he would give that discussing piece of dog dirt over on Radio 1 a fight for the audience.
My vote goes to a broadcaster who joined Radio back in 1997.Hes usually on during the nightime hours but regularly steps into the daytime schedule when others are on holidays.Step forward Richard Allinson.
