pros and cons of panel research

Hi folks

have to help out the step daughter with some homework on the pros and cons of panel research. Any of you brainboxes out there able to give me a kick start.

we have covered the difference between quantative and qualitive panels but now we need the pros and cons of panel research (in either sort).
