Peugeot 307 HDi 2.0 not starting
Car will not start first thing each day since the cold weather. Brand new glow-plugs, fuel filter bowl drained and still nothing. Turns over fine, but won't catch, until the battery is drained. I think it has electric fuel primer, not manual, which runs during pre-start with the glow-plugs. Checked the battery before starting today, 12.3 volts. Cycled the pre-start ten times before starting then tried to start. It turned over until it drained the battery. Jumped it from my trusty reliable BMW and it started in two goes. Any ideas?

Is it possible that one of the new glow-plugs is duff? Sometimes a fault in manufacturing leads to an odd one being duff from new.
