KM Links Game - March week 3 results

Good morning everyone - and apologies for being late, I'll get all the info down as fast as I can.

Interesting, just how many possible combinations could go with the four link words, but in the end, they turned out to be -

LIGHT BULB
STEEL DRUM
HEATH ROBINSON
JACK RUSSELL

All four matches were made within the first three entries - one of them was me and I scored zip, so london_lassy and slaney were both right on the money, the two main points gatherers were Heath Robinson and Jack Russell but we managed to find four entrants wh each collected 6 points for three correct matches and they were CHIEF PANDA, PRESCOTT, BARB7771 & BRYHER and a further 9 entries picked 3 points each, so there's been quite a bit of action on the Leader Board, which you'll get to see shortly.

I'll post this before somebody calls out the rescue teams and get back in a wee while........S

The LEADER BOARD

Rose Maybud is still maintaining her lead inspite not having increased her score this week and has 11 points

Having been 'mentioned in dispatches' Prescott has closed the gap and has 9 points

Then it gets very busy -

8 points - Chiefpanda, barb7771, & bryher

7 points - tearinghair, patchett, cpfcrosiel, & Aquagility

6 points - london_lassy & x-ray & ChrisHewat

5 points - slaney, Sandy-Wroe, ulysses100, devadiva, grannydi, wickedtongue, paulineward & Eiggam

Everyone else is sitting on either 4, 3, 2 or 1 point [and there's a lot of us - including Jess] except for the members of the Free Fall Club, the membership has taken a steady dive over the past 2 weeks and now stands at 4 - one who is dedicated to staying there, one who is dedicated to being different and two more who will probably change their status before the month is over.

There is one more week to go so I'll leave you with these few parting words - Congratulations to all the points scorers and we hope for many more next week when we reconvene Saturday am, same time, same place for the final assault.

My apologies, bryher, I'm afraid to admit I do make the occasional st#ff up, throwing points around nilly willy, but thank you for drawing my attention to it and it will be amended [pity !!] on the LB next week.
