How are you all, haven't been on much recently, been so busy with work and home and finally getting the garden sorted, and my treadmill has arrived.

Question is:

My care insurance has gone up :-( dont know why i haven't had an accident or speeding fine (touch wood), i built up 1 year no claims and still premiums have gone through the roof? higher than i paid last year. why has that happened and any tips on getting it cheaper elsewhere? recommendations would be great, thanks, also is there anything i can say in the insurance quote that would reduce it a bit. this is doing my head in, April/May have been the worst months this year so far for me financially.

It's been commented recently here, suzie, premiums have gone up generally this year, it's not just you! worth shopping around, and looking at websites like Direct Line who aren't on the insurance comparison websites. If you can afford to increase your excess, that usually puts the premium down a bit, but it means you have to fork out more if something happens.

We have to shop around nearly every year for insurance, its getting ridiculous February/March is our bad time. It depends on your post code nowadays, and also if you keep it garaged, someone said it helps of you are a member of the Neighbourhood Watch! We are clutching at straws.

had a weird day at work myself today, wasn't feeling up too much, woke up with a fever and headache, blocked nose, and nearly didn't go in, but did, not going tomorrow, need time to feel beta, they dont appreciate what i do anyway, just a poxy band 2 clerical officer and jobs getting annoying, someone called me stupid yesterday and today someone else was having a go over the phone, patients mostly.

kept my cool though, u have to innit, today the Gardner did a disappearing act and bodged up the decking, when asked about it he got defensive.peed of with him, got him from my hammer, how unreliable, never gonna make that mistake again.

overall things are crap at the moment, and feeling it tough and hard
