and your question is...?
Is that the same Daily Express owned by the new owner of Channel 5, a direct competitor to the BBC.

If si, then they are not impartially reporting.

The BBC is good value for money at home, and our best promoter of Briain and British values abroad.

How many award winning programmes did Channel FIVE or SKY make last year?
"If si, then they are not impartially reporting"

and we all know how impartial the BBC are dont we, how about their bias towards palestine at israels expense for instance

look up the Balen Report

The sooner the BBC is made to stand on its own two feet and compete on a level playing field and not funded by a tax then we'll see how good they are and how long it survives.

the whole organisation for the most part is run and staffed by lefties, it stinks of left wing political correctness and left wing policiest they make me sick and the sooner they are got rid of the better
"How many award winning programmes did Channel FIVE or SKY make last year?"

if they recieved billions by way of a tax, then they probably would make award winning material
All people are equal but some are more equal than others.
"if they recieved billions by way of a tax, then they probably would make award winning material"

They get their billions from ads instead of tax, which the BBC doesn't. So how are they doing, awards-wise?
jno Channel FIVE billions ?, do you have a link as i would be more inclined to think it woud be millions if they are lucky.
up to them and their ad salesmen how many billions they get, acoupleleft. That's capitalism for you, and if the porn baron who's now bought the channel doesn't like the rules maybe he should have stayed home. But it seems he is starting to compete not by producing good programmes but by telling his newspapers to *** off his broadcast rivals.

With everyone having no choice if they want to watch tv they are forced to pay for the BBC. How can anyone compete with the parasites who soak up the money, the BBC with an income of £4.7 billion not million to play with and waste.
Give people a choice and see how many want to pay for the BBC, simple thing to do is encrypt the signal.
You really have a problem with the BBC don't you?
BBc have a to all intents and purposes guaranteed income of around £3.4 billion raised by way of a tax., the others have to actually work in the free market to earn their millions from ads.

and as if that is not enough

The BBC also receives a direct government grant from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to fund television and radio services broadcast to other countries such as the BBC World Service radio and BBC Arabic Television.
The public seem to like the BBC. The BBC's output is the most watched

BBC is watched by 31.8% of viewers
SKY is watched by 6.8% of viewers

So the public seem to be getting their moneys worth.
Rebel(elbow)souls is psychopathically annoyed by the wonderful, world-class BBC that most people are very happy with and proud of.

For heaven's sake, just ignore his trollish posts - they're childish obsession is boring!!!
.
as is *their* childish obsession

.
Hi- given that you don't pay the licence as you don't watch TV I am impressed with your selflessness in tackling this issue on behalf of those of us who do pay the licence fee.
With or without your campaign, though, I think the Tories will ensure much more accountability of how the money is spent. However I think the aboltion of the licence fee is a long, long way off.
"The public seem to like the BBC. The BBC's output is the most watched

well according to "your " figures roughly 68% dont watch the BBC
I think that's about the share of the vote that legitimises our current prime minister Baz

If it's good enough for him...
