Do you find on this site! you try and help someone with problems in their lives when some bloody smart arse comes along with unjustified stupid condescending answers that seems to distract from the original post?

you can always report objectionable posts, especially those not in CB
Some of the smart arses are very funny though :-)
Yes I do.

However if you are going to post on a message board, i'm afraid you have to expect it. Everyone is allowed an opinion, unfortunately, not everyones view is sympathetic but then not everyone desreves sympathy.
I moaned about the same thing not long back, and then found myself doing it,.

Yes I 100% agree twr, and it always seems to be from members in the same group.
Best just to ignore them.

Who has upset you today, TWR ?
Just looked round at my arse.... and it does sometimes have smart on it, so sorry TWR.

I'll try to be better in future, otherwise i'll get ummmm to spank it. :0)
I think there is a clear distinction between remarks which are condescending and derogatory and those designed to amuse.
Yes

No.one Jack, its a thought just as I've been looking through various parts of the site, not all Qs answered are correct but least the people take the time to look, think, analyze the Q before posting their thought's about the answer, " Aren't people strange?
Some more than others, TWR..............
Unfortunatly some people are like that. They can write anything when hidden behind a name.
mike11111 we have what I've named as the "Pun Piranhas" those that are lured to athread or post and before a serious answer is given an attempt at humour is executed which is not always a bad thing but then you have many coming out of the woodwork and before you know it there's a whole swarm on the particular thread and the original posts momentum is lost. maybe many here have a secret desire to be standup comedians? Maybe the editorial team could have a standup night on the weekends where these characters have a chance to flex their humour muscles so not to be left out.

100% agree twr! especially when they start TO WRITE IN CAPITAL LETTERS like this!
I (try to be) vere towards comedy - but only where applicable, optional or absolutely necessary. If someone has problems, upsetting or serious ones, then I keep the humour away, or at least down.....

I AM Miranda...........

I used to be a smartarse, but have mellowed of late and I would like to apologise to anyone I have upset in the past.
